Unit Capacity: 36 Beds Population Served: Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown: Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke/Neuro patients, BIPAP overflows Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) Nurse to Patient Ratios: 1:6 Core Staffing Plan: Variable staffing grid to include: Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Technicians (PCTs), Nurse Interns (NIs). An RN assumes full responsibility for the patients on each team. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Successful completion of a proctored rhythm test Medical Solutions Job ID #1020424.
