ProHealth Physicians (Glastonbury Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine) has an immediate opening for a friendly, patient focused and detail oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team.
Schedule: The position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday [8:45am - 5:15pm], rotating Saturdays from 8 AM to 12 PM.
May be asked to float to local practices in the region for coverage.
Consult a medical assistant or licensed clinician for clinical decision making whenever necessary
Scan and index documents into the EHR; ensure that necessary documents, lab results, etc. Close payment batch(es) at the end of each shift, assemble and balance batch(es) according to ProHealth cash control procedures
Maintain knowledge of current OSHA and ProHealth policies
Assist coworkers as needed to ensure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
~1+ years of receptionist or equivalent customer service or admin-related experience

Experience working with an electronic health record
Office Administrative / Receptionist / Clerical experience in a medical environment
Customer service experience in retail, hospitality, etc.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
