Job Summary:

The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in an unspecified location. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care within a structured clinical environment, following safety protocols, and participating in patient education and discharge planning, with shifts scheduled nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Details:

Certifications: BLS Certification, ACLS certification prior to start date.

Education Requirements: None specified.

Degree Requirements: None specified.

Location Requirements: None specified.

Years of Experience: 0 years minimum.

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, develops individualized care plans, participates in team conferences, and ensures accurate documentation of patient care. Provides patient education, initiates discharge planning from day of admission, and communicates changes in patient condition to the care team. Responsible for supervision of ancillary personnel, maintains a safe work environment, and actively engages in ongoing professional development. Assumes charge responsibility after orientation and contributes to a positive team environment.
