Manufacturing Engineer

ConMet's Canton, NC plastics manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer with strong project management abilities and a collaborative mindset. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who thrives on supporting manufacturing operations by analyzing processes and driving efficiency improvements across both new and existing production lines.

Provide engineering support for the development and integration of new product lines into existing plant operations.

Identify manufacturing operations that could best benefit from engineering analysis.

Perform detailed analysis of manufacturing operations and propose modifications to improve operations.

Perform economic assessment of manufacturing alternatives.

Analyze process flow and propose improvements for increased cost-efficiency.

Develop cost-effective and robust production processes.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering required

Manufacturing and Assembly processes experience and knowledge required

SAP (or equivalent ERP system) experience required

CNC programming and PLC experience preferred

Ultrasonic/Vibration Welding for Plastics preferred

CAD - 3D modeling/SolidWorks experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits Excellent base salary Targeted annual bonus is based on company performance to objectives during the fiscal plan year, which runs from October 1 – September 30.
