Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Renton, WA (Home Health) where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.

Current Physical Therapy license in Washington state or a valid compact license granting privilege to practice in Washington.

Home health experience preferred.

Experience with HomeCare HomeBase preferred.

Ability to complete patient evaluations and develop plan of care within state-specific guidelines.

Ability to travel and visit patients across South King County service area. Must be able to participate in occasional weekend rotation and potential availability on observed holidays as needed. (Bachelor's degree.

Shift hours: 08:00–16:00 (M–F; schedule flexibility and participation in a weekend rotation may be required per client guidance.

May supervise PTAs and home health aides per agency policy and state regulation.

Renton sits along the southern shore of Lake Washington and provides quick access to both urban and outdoor recreation. Downtown Seattle is approximately 12 miles north offering cultural attractions such as Pike Place Market and the Space Needle within a 20–30 minute drive depending on traffic. The city provides access to Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park and the Black Diamond Historical Museum within a 20–35 minute drive for hiking and outdoor activities. Commute options include access to I-405 and State Route 167 for regional travel and nearby Link Light Rail stations and bus service for connections into Seattle, Bellevue, and Kent. The area supports a suburban lifestyle with proximate urban amenities and varied outdoor recreation for an active clinician.

Evaluate patients’ functional status and physical therapy needs and consult with physicians to develop plans of care in accordance with CMS documentation requirements.

Provide physical therapy services within state scope of practice, following the plan of care and coordinating with the interdisciplinary team.

Document progress notes per agency policy and complete patient evaluations and plan of care within state timelines. Report evaluation outcomes to nurse supervisor within 24 hours.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.

Adhere to agency Therapy Standards of Practice and maintain state licensure and required certifications through continuing education.

Follow agency policies for supervision of PTAs and home health aides in accordance with state regulations.
