At Newton Centre Dental, hygiene isn't about moving as many patients through the schedule as possible. Our 60-minute adult recall appointments and no accelerated hygiene model allow you to slow down, educate patients, build trust, and provide the level of care you were trained to deliver. Our practice primarily serves an established community seeking comprehensive, personalized dentistry, with a payer mix that leans more toward fee-for-service and PPO care rather than heavy insurance participation. Your Role as a Dental Hygienist

Provide comprehensive preventive and therapeutic hygiene care, including cleanings, scaling and root planing, and fluoride treatments
Capture and interpret diagnostic-quality digital radiographs
Educate patients on oral health, periodontal health, and individualized preventive care
Maintain accurate digital patient records and uphold OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards

Associate degree or higher from an accredited dental hygiene program

• Active Massachusetts Dental Hygienist license
• Local anesthesia certification required or willingness to obtain
• 1+ year of dental hygiene experience preferred, although motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
