MLT - Medical Laboratory

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Laboratory Technician to support our client’s medical facility in Charlotte, NC . This is a 3+ months with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title: Medical Laboratory Technician
Shift: Mon - Fri 12 PM-8:30 PM
Evaluate specimens to ensure they meet testing requirements.
Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in urinalysis, hematology, and chemistry .
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers.
Experience with Orchard LIS for laboratory testing and documentation.
Make technical decisions and troubleshoot testing issues.
Perform and document quality control and preventive maintenance .
Maintain and replenish laboratory supplies.
Work effectively in a high-complexity, high-volume laboratory setting .

Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Science .

• 1–2 years of clinical laboratory testing experience preferred/required based on position.
• Generalist laboratory experience in hematology, chemistry, and urinalysis .
