Lube Technician
The main objective of the Lube Technician is to perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on heavy mobile equipment. This work is vital for maintaining the safety and reliability of valuable assets used in the mining process.
Perform detailed inspections of equipment and document current or potential problems
Complete preventative maintenance tasks including lubrication
Maintain work and oil and parts storage areas in a clean, safe condition
Maintain inventories of parts and supplies used for preventative maintenance
Participate in the planning of future work
Prior relevant experience with the routine care of heavy mobile equipment.
Ability to follow detailed routines for accomplishing maintenance work.
Ability to communicate effectively through writing and electronic means
Relationship building
This role frequently operates heavy equipment.
This is a full-time position. Ability to work a split shift or a night shift is preferred.
Valid US driver's license, CDL preferred
