Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated healthcare professional with experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D), Post Partum (PP), and Newborn care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients across various stages of maternity care, including labor and delivery, postpartum recovery, and newborn care.
Provide care for patients in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn care settings.
Float as needed across various patient care units within the facility.
Assist with high-risk deliveries, including the administration of medications and monitoring patient vitals.
Evaluate and manage patients' pain levels and ensure proper medication administration, including insulin and magnesium sulfate therapy.
Provide education and support to patients and their families concerning care plans and recovery processes.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, and Newborn care.
Candidates must have a current compact nursing license.
Must be willing to float between sister facilities as necessary.
A commitment to working three of five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) is required.
