The Cook's responsibilities include preparing food for the on-site lunch program on Sundays and holidays. The cook is responsible for keeping the kitchen properly cleaned, inventory, creating menus and providing excellent customer service. This position will also work with volunteers that are assigned to the kitchen.
Preparing food for lunch program on Saturdays and Holidays.
Maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the kitchen.
Assisting with food distribution biweekly.
Adhering to ServSafe food handling regulations.
Overseeing incoming food donations.
Ensuring food orders and deliveries are recorded and stored properly.
Working with volunteers that are assigned to the kitchen.
High school diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
~Knowledge of safe food handling guidelines, to include:
Proper rotation
Computer Skills

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
Basic computer operation knowledge
Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
Willingness to learn new software as needed
Current ServSafe Kitchen Manager certification, or gain it within 2 months of hire
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
