Retail Attendant

The Retail Attendant is responsible for executing retail operations at the marina with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. The primary responsibility is to ensure each customer has an exceptional boating experience, addressing their needs with professionalism. The Retail Attendant projects a professional company image through all types of interaction. Given the fast-paced nature of the marina environment, the Retail Attendant should be able to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive demeanor.

The Retail Attendant is responsible for:

Receiving money for purchases and calculating customers change, may have to operate cash register depending on the marina

Providing the highest level of customer and guest services, expediting any and all requests from vessels

Greeting customers courteously and selling merchandise to them

Excellent customer service skills

General accounting knowledge and basic understanding of financial statements

Must be able to swim or be willing to wear a personal flotation device in instances of emergency

Must have flexible schedule to include working weekends and holidays during busy season
