Description: Unit notes include clinical profile review and interview by the manager. Travelers will be required to float to other facilities as needed within the region. Unit has 28 beds with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5. Common diagnoses include general medical patients such as sepsis, COPD, bowel obstructions, and CHF. There are no tele monitor techs available on the unit. Charge nurses do not take assignments. There are nurse aides available, with a ratio of 1 CNA to 10-14 patients. RT equipment includes CPAP and established BiPAPs only. Weekend and holiday availability is required. There is a standby requirement based on unit needs. There is unit-specific orientation. Cancellation policy allows up to 4 shifts to be canceled per assignment. Charting system used is EPIC. Medical, dental & vision insurance
