Carpenter Construction - Installation

Job Title: Carpenters, Concrete Workers, and Steel Erectors

Join a dynamic team working on various commercial projects within a 60-mile radius of Waterloo. As a general contractor focusing on projects ranging from $1 million to $15 million, we specialize in remodels and new buildings, especially at UNI. This position involves diverse construction tasks, including demolition, earthwork, excavations, concrete placement and finishing, framework erection, ceiling and wall installation, welding, and signaling operators. Perform demolition work and earthwork excavations.

Place and finish concrete structures.

Engage in other construction-related tasks as required.

2+ years of experience in construction, with a focus on carpentry (residential or commercial).

Work in a commercial construction environment, wearing boots, jeans, and a t-shirt or sweatshirt. Collaborate in teams of 3-10 people on-site, with standard working hours from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, IA.
