Procurement & Sourcing Specialist II

We're looking for a Procurement & Sourcing Specialist II to join our Grand Island team. This is an opportunity for a procurement or supply chain professional to move beyond transactional purchasing and take greater ownership of supplier relationships, sourcing, negotiations, cost improvement and supply continuity in a regulated manufacturing environment.

You'll manage a portfolio of suppliers and partner closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality and Category Management to keep materials flowing while improving cost, quality, delivery and supplier performance.
Manage and develop supplier relationships, including resolving issues related to cost, quality, delivery and service.

• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and mitigate supply risk.
• Partner with Material Planning to support production requirements and continuity of supply.
• Analyze supplier, market and business data to identify trends and recommend action.
• Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and other partners on product and supplier changes.
• Develop reporting and analytical tools that provide greater visibility into procurement and supplier performance.
• Occasional domestic and international travel, approximately 10–25%.

Bachelor's degree Required (preferred field of study: Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related discipline).

• Prior experience in procurement, sourcing or supply chain highly preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Procurement or strategic sourcing in a manufacturing environment

SAP or another major ERP platform
Supplier negotiations, RFx processes or supplier performance management
Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement
APICS, CPIM, CSCP or another supply chain certification
