Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg/Telemetry team. This position is part of a fast-paced admission unit, focusing on general medical patients and surgical patients awaiting surgery. The role requires an individual who can communicate effectively and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Monitor and assess patient conditions, maintaining a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to facilitate rapid admissions and discharge processes.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and interventions.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical/surgical or telemetry nursing setting.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Ability to manage a rapid admission unit efficiently, accommodating patient turnover.

Must possess a verified nursing license through Nursys.
