About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide one-on-one in-home care for an elderly woman in her 90s living with dementia. The ideal caregiver is patient, attentive, safety-focused, and experienced in memory-care support.
You will be providing daily assistance, companionship, and hands-on personal care in a calm, respectful home environment.
Responsibilities

Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist with mobility, transfers, and fall-prevention
Monitor and document any changes in condition or behavior
Support dementia-friendly routines and redirection techniques
Prepare light meals and ensure proper hydration
Medication reminders
Light housekeeping related to the client (laundry, tidying, changing linens)
Offer companionship, engagement, and emotional support
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified care environment
Communicate regularly with family regarding updates or concerns
Qualifications

Valid CNA license (required)
Minimum 2+ years of caregiving experience, preferably with dementia patients
Experience with in-home care and working independently
CPR/First Aid certification preferred
Reliable transportation
Strong communication and patience with memory-impaired clients
Ability to lift/move 50+ lbs (for transfers/mobility assistance)
