Responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Trauma Registry by coding and abstracting the clinical and demographic data from patient records. The Trauma Registrar displays the ability to work independently and with the team. Coursework/Training: Medical terminology., Or Knowledge of Medical terminology.

1 yearof Medical record abstracting and/or coding.
1 year of Medical registry or 2+ years working in a healthcare-related field.
1 year of Injury severity coding and reimbursement coding.
