KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas, is looking for a dynamic, knowledgeable weekend meteorologist to take the reins on our weather coverage for weekend evening newscasts. This meteorologist will be afforded the opportunity to work with an A+ weather team and provide weather and news content for broadcast, digital, and social platforms.

Create and deliver compelling weather content for broadcast, digital, and social platforms

• Possess excellent communication skills on air, online, and in-person
• The ability to act as a multimedia journalist to assist the news team in gathering content
• Other duties as assigned by the News Director

Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric Science

• Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including holidays and on-call shifts
• Must possess an understanding of digital/social media platforms and strategy
