Fort Worth STEAM Academy (FWSA) is launching a tuition-free public charter middle school in East Fort Worth, opening August 2026. Our mission is to prepare every student for success in high school, college, and career through a rigorous STEAM-focused education, a joyful culture of high expectations, and strong community partnerships. As a founding team member, you won't just take a job—you'll help build a safe, structured, joyful school where curiosity and excellence thrive.
Individualized Learning Facilitator lead structured, data-driven learning during the Individualized Learning Period to accelerate student achievement in math and literacy—so every student grows. You ensure students engage deeply with adaptive learning platforms, monitor progress daily, provide targeted support, and partner with teachers and leaders to help students meet ambitious goals.
Location: Fort Worth, TX (on-site)
Hourly (non-exempt; eligible for overtime in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act)
Schedule: Full-time, school calendar

Engage in coaching and professional development; Facilitate structured IL blocks using adaptive learning platforms (e.g., math and literacy software).

  • Ensure students are on-task, engaged, and meeting usage and performance expectations.
  • Assessment, Data & Acceleration
  • Monitor student progress daily using platform data and internal trackers.
  • Build and maintain a safe, structured, and joyful learning environment aligned with FWSA culture systems.
  • Utilize the school-wide behavior system with fidelity to support student success.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date student data and usage records.

Bachelors Degree or equivalent.

  • Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a structured learning environment.
  • 1+ year of experience working with students (school, tutoring, or youth programs preferred).
  • Experience with adaptive learning platforms (e.g., Experience in a Texas public or charter school setting.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.

Required: DPS fingerprint clearance per Texas Education Code §22.0835
