As Care Giver/Medication Technician , you’ll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors, creating meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day.

As the Care Giver/Medication Technician , your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Status: FULL TIME

Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety.

Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses

Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities.

Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being.

Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces.

Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems.

Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition.

Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies.

High school diploma or GED required

CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills

Regulatory Compliance & Background Screening

Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of state-mandated and/or federally required background screenings, which may include criminal history checks, fingerprint-based screening, Level 2 background screening, registry verification, and other screenings required for healthcare and senior living roles with direct or indirect resident access.

Certain positions may be subject to additional requirements under federal programs, including CMS, Medicare, and Medicaid regulations, as well as state-specific licensing or regulatory agencies. These measures support regulatory compliance and help maintain a safe, secure environment for residents, families, and team members.

Employment in Floridais contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements. Applicants will be required to complete fingerprinting and background screening through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
