Opportunity Overview
A critical access hospital in Florence, Oregon is seeking a Board Certified General Surgeon for a 26-week locums assignment.
The physician will provide inpatient and outpatient surgical services in a community hospital setting with approximately 21 beds and an average of 10 patients per day .
Schedule & Coverage
~ Monday–Friday

~8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• 5 shifts per week
• Scheduled + on-call coverage required
• Approximately 5 shifts per week needed

Clinical Requirements
The ideal candidate should have experience practicing as a General Surgeon in a critical access setting .
Required skills include:
General Surgery
Colonoscopy
Endoscopy
Patient admissions
Inpatient and outpatient surgical services
Candidate Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in Surgery
Active Oregon medical license required at time of presentation
ACLS certification required
Epic experience required
Documentation of surgical services representative of the requested privileges within the previous 24 months
Physicians who completed training within the previous year may provide a training log
