Contract | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Block Schedule Required | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care/Step-Down unit setting within a Short-Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center
Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
Float between units or sister facilities nearby as needed per assignment requirements
Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Complete required onboarding modules prior to and during orientation as assigned
Required Qualifications
Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Minimum of 1 year of PCU/Step-Down or relevant RN experience required
Must commit to a block schedule; all RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submission
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a standard traveler (locals accepted at a different rate)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Epic EMR charting
Experience in a Level III Trauma Center or similar acute care environment
Familiarity with progressive care or step-down patient populations
