Description:

MUST HAVE NY LICENSE IN HAND - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Specialty: MS/Tele.
Schedule: 3x12 Nights (1900 - 0700).
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
First-time travelers accepted.
Patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 for MedSurg with 26 beds.
Specializes in the care of patients post-PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, and post-MI.
Involves cardiac pharmacological interventions.
Responsibility includes cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
Requires interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Involves the use of Rapid Response/Code teams.
Competence in IV therapy and phlebotomy.
Experience with peripheral line care and management.
Involves the use of respiratory support measures, including nasal cannulas and oxygen therapy.
Must understand isolation precautions.
Daily census is approximately 38 patients.
Interdisciplinary support available, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Patient demographic includes adults and geriatrics.
Focus is on complex care for medical conditions and orthopedic overflow.
Travelers will float to various areas as needed.
Experience with additional nursing skills is required, including blood product administration and telemetry monitoring. About Cynet Health
