- Emergency Room RN (Nights) - ASAP

Registered Nurse- NightsPRN nurses are cross-trained to work both in the Emergnecy Department, and on the inpatient Medical-Telemetry Unit. An Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) is crucial in providing immediate and comprehensive care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions or emergencies. Triage:Assign triage categories to ensure timely care based on the urgency of each patient's condition.
Emergency Care:Provide care to patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics, following established protocols and guidelines.
Supervision:Oversee the work of support staff such as Emergency Room Technicians (ERTs) and other healthcare personnel, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
Collaboration:Work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
Infection Control:Continuous Education:Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, attending staff meetings, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives.
Position Requirements Two years of emergency room experience.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.
Educational requirements appropriate for meeting the age-specific needs of patients presenting to the emergency center, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, including emergency procedures required for stabilizing patients of all ages.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
2 years of experience in an Inpatient unit preferred
