The Retail Sales Associate plays a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience by providing fast, friendly service in a high-energy convenience store environment. This position supports daily store operations, maintains store appearance, and helps create a clean, safe, and welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and cash-handling skills preferred
Deliver exceptional customer service with a positive and energetic attitude
Accurately process transactions while following company cash-handling procedures
Assist guests with fuel purchases, lottery transactions, returns, and other store services
Promote featured products, rewards programs, and store promotions to enhance the guest experience
Keep the store clean, stocked, and organized including counters, shelves, coolers, restrooms, and outdoor areas in all weather conditions
Restock merchandise, bag ice, organize displays, empty trash, and complete daily operational tasks
Support overall store operations and assist team members as needed
Successful Retail Sales Associates are:
Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused
Comfortable using POS systems, basic technology, and store equipment
Team players who bring energy and positivity to every shift
Ability to safely operate store equipment and handle cleaning chemicals
Ability to bend, lift, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
Team members are expected to communicate and work effectively with customers, coworkers, management, and vendors while contributing to a welcoming and inclusive environment.
