Registered Nurse MedSurg Neurology Nights

Registered Nurse - MedSurg Ortho/Neuro

This is a 13-week contract position. The schedule consists of 3x12 hour night shifts, with every other weekend and rotating holidays.

As a Registered Nurse in the MedSurg Ortho/Neuro unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.

Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient status.

Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.

Collaborate with healthcare team members for coordinated patient care.

Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery.

Participate in procedures and provide post-operative care as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in good standing.

BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.

Basic knowledge of arrhythmias and fatal rhythm recognition.
