Full Time Dockworker

Dock OperatorPosition Summary: We are looking for a full-time Dock Operator to join our on-site team in Houston, TX. This role is centered around handling cement products, including loading, unloading, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring equipment remains in good working condition. A strong focus on safety and attention to operational detail are key to success in this position.Key Responsibilities:Follow all OSHA safety procedures, including the consistent use of proper personal protective equipmentWork to uphold or exceed all internal safety benchmarks and expectationsMaintain the organization and cleanliness of the dock and surrounding areasAssist with minor equipment maintenance and repair as neededTake on additional responsibilities or duties as assigned by site supervisorsCarry out physically demanding tasks such as bending, squatting, stooping, shoveling, and sweeping throughout the shiftQualifications and Requirements:Background in dock or warehouse operationsSkilled in forklift operation, with a focus on safety and precisionUnderstanding of inventory tracking and documentation systemsStrong organizational habits and a keen eye for detailComfortable working in fast-paced and physically intense environmentsEffective team communication skills and a willingness to collaborateHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus
