Machinist
The machinist role involves setting up and operating TMU Swiss Lathe machines, working with tight tolerances, and conducting thorough quality inspections.
Machine small, precision parts to tight tolerances.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, pin gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
Make tool offsets and minor program edits as needed.
Troubleshoot machining issues and ensure quality outputs.
Experience with inspection tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, etc.

Work scheduled from Monday to Thursday, 3:24 PM to 1:54 AM, with overtime as needed on Fridays. Mandatory training occurs during the first two weeks, Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Loves Park, IL.
