Duties

Provide high-quality hair styling, coloring, extensions, barbering, and hair threading services tailored to each client's preferences.

Offer expert nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail art to enhance client satisfaction.

Deliver professional makeup application for special occasions or everyday looks.

Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations.

Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their needs and advising on hair care products or additional services for upselling opportunities.

Manage appointments efficiently using salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms to optimize scheduling and client management.

Foster positive relationships with clients through attentive customer service, ensuring repeat business and referrals.

Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair coloring, styling techniques, and nail care to provide innovative services.

Assist with store management tasks when needed, including inventory checks and maintaining a welcoming salon atmosphere.

Experience

Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a hairstylist or nail technician is required; familiarity with salon operations is highly preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in hair care techniques such as coloring, extensions, barbering (including straight razor use), and hair styling.

Knowledge of sanitation practices and maintaining a clean work environment is essential.

Strong communication skills for client consultation and service recommendations.

Experience using salon management software like MINDBODY or similar systems for scheduling and client records.

Certification in cosmetology or barbering is required; additional skills in makeup application and hair threading are advantageous.

Ability to mentor junior staff or apprentices is a plus, fostering a collaborative team environment.
