Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Fairfield, OH. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and oversight of electrical systems, working closely with stakeholders, vendors, and customers to develop and implement electrical solutions for various projects.

Design electrical systems including switchgear, power distribution panels, control panels, conduit, and wire routing drawings.

Provide customers with all necessary CAD drawings for project completion.

Specify all components needed for project completion.

Collaborate with sales to obtain quotations for new equipment, review customer electrical requirements, and size proposed equipment.

Properly size transformers and switchgear equipment, ensuring designs have proper clearances per codes and regulatory requirements.

Review and ensure the accuracy of utility drawings provided to the customer.

Work with manufacturing and installation teams to address any electrical questions.

Understand customer specifications and governing codes, and incorporate them into the design.

Ensure electrical standardized procedural documentation is accurate, up to date, and utilized.

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of experience working with high and medium voltage electrical equipment.
• Experience with root cause and risk analysis.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Experience with electrical layout, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematic drawings.

This position is based at our facility in West Chester, OH. The facility has around 50 employees, including an engineering team of about 10. The work environment is clean and requires both office and on-the-floor presence.
