Barberton Mancan is assisting a growing Barberton manufacturing company in hiring an experienced Manual Machinist
Overtime paid after 8 hours each day
This is a temp to hire position.
We are looking for a skilled Manual Machinist with experience operating manual lathes and manual grinders. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality parts while maintaining a safe work environment.
Set up and operate manual lathes, grinders, milling machines, thermal spray equipment, and other machine tools as assigned.
Take precise measurements and ensure parts meet required tolerances.
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform quality inspections and document completed work.
Maintain inventory of completed parts and identify defective products.
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Strong mechanical aptitude

Experience with machine tools or mechanical assembly.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications.
Basic computer skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Vocational training or apprenticeship preferred.
