PTA - Physical Therapy

We are seeking a Full-Time, Part time and PRN SNF Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Bear Creek Senior Living in Colorado Springs, CO.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Bear Creek Senior Living, you’ll work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist as a vital part of a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of our residents. Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting with treatment interventions and therapeutic exercises

Conducting therapy practice within defined standards of care and in accordance with the Physical Therapist’s treatment plan

Directing the assistance of support staff to achieve patients’ functional goals

Following facility and departmental policies and procedures, including quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards

Documenting treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress notes; Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program

Current Physical Therapy Assistant license from the state of Colorado

Knowledge and skills to care for the physical and developmental needs of the population age groups that will be receiving services

At least one year of experience as a physical therapy assistant preferred

Ability to remain calm in emergency or crisis situations

Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected compensation range for this position is $32.00 and $40.00 per hour.
