Conduct assessments for a diverse patient population comprising pediatric, adult, and geriatric clients utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.
Create tailored treatment plans that meet the short-term goals along with the long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
Deliver engaging one-on-one speech therapy focused on various aspects including language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, nurses, physicians, families, and caregivers, to design comprehensive care strategies.
Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy sessions to ensure consistent care throughout the patient's journey.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field via continuous education and peer collaboration.
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic practices for all age groups, combined with a strong grasp of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to connect with patients, families, and a wide-ranging interdisciplinary care team.
Ability to tailor therapy strategies to address diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Comfort in managing electronic medical records and meeting documentation requirements.
