This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
This position requires a night shift schedule, working 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00.
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ED RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver essential medical support to patients across various age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
Assess patient needs and prioritize care in the emergency department.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to care plans as necessary.
Educate patients and families on health management and recovery plans.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Document care activities and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency department setting.
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
Must hold a valid Compact RN license prior to submission.
