Number of Beds – 10 Labor Beds and 13 postpartum beds and 2 ORs
Number of Staff – growing rapidly --- usually staff with 4-5 Labor RNs and 2 Postpartum RNs and OB scrub tech. Also have Level 2 NICU with 2 RNs 24/7. 24/7 in house OB Hospitalist and 24/7 in house Neonatology provider.
Day Shift – 4-5 labor RNs/shift; 2 postpartum RNs/shift; Night Shift – same
Patient Ratios – varied, depending stages of labor
Type of equipment – Labor tubs for midwifery patients; Fetal monitoring system
EMR – Meditech and CPN

Minimum of 2 yrs Labor experience

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Labor, vaginal deliveries
OB ED (triage)
Excitement for growth opportunities for unit
BLS, NRP, fetal monitoring, C-EFM

Help out in Postpartum if needed

Scrubs provided by facility

Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
Weekends and On call (if any):
~ One to two on-call shifts per month preferred
