Chemical Engineering M

As a Chemical Process Engineer I here at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will be responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of manufacturing and chemical processes. This position works closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and environmental health and safety teams to optimize process performance, improve product quality, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work out of our Geismar, LA facility and will report to the Sr ISC Operations Manager.
Monitor and evaluate process performance using production and quality data
Provide day-to-day technical support to production operations
Investigate process interruptions, quality deviations, and equipment performance issues
Support Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
Participate in capital and expense projects related to process improvements
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university

Internship or co-op experience
Understanding of chemical engineering fundamentals and process unit operations
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and engineering drawings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
