Actuary - Remote Position

Hybrid Work Model - SwissRe requires at least three office days per week, with the option to work onsite full‑time if preferred.

As a Pricing Actuary within our Financial Products (FinPro) team, you will develop sophisticated pricing models to drive profitability and growth in complex insurance markets, transforming data into actionable insights that guide business decisions.

Develop and enhance best‑in‑class FinPro rating models using technology, internal data assets, and broader datasets.

Create strategic proposals with business owners to address profitability gaps.

Conduct actuarial and data‑science analysis to improve portfolio profitability.

Partner with Reserving, Underwriting, Finance, and Claims to deliver integrated solutions.

Support pricing for large FinPro accounts with rigorous analysis.

Coordinate rate‑monitoring processes from costing models, ensuring feedback informs profitability analysis.

The actuarial team supports global Corporate Solutions Financial Products, including Construction PI, General PI, Agents, Accountants & Consultants, Lawyers, Cyber, and Transactional Liability. You are a detail‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills, able to translate complex data into actionable business insights. You thrive in collaborative settings, work independently when needed, and pursue continuous learning in the actuarial field.

3‑4 years in P&C commercial pricing, preferably with general or financial liability products.

Pursuing actuarial qualifications with demonstrated progress.

Solid understanding of actuarial methods, models, and related business processes.

Experience in portfolio profitability analysis, costing models, and tool development.

Programming skills in R, Python, and SQL, with knowledge of data science techniques.
