Develop and write CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling machines.

Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding methods.

Perform prove-outs of new programs, making adjustments as necessary to optimize performance.

Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot and improve manufacturing processes.

Utilize CAD/CAM software to design and simulate machining operations.

Optimize existing CNC programs for efficiency, cycle time, and tool life.

Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the programming process.

Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling, and workholding.

Experience with machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting on 3-axis and multi-axis CNC mills.

Ability to perform in-process inspection and utilize metrology tools to ensure part quality.

Bonus Qualifications

Proficiency with a second CAM software package (e.g., Experience with 5-axis programming and advanced machining techniques.

Familiarity with robotics or automation integration in manufacturing.

Strong understanding of GD&T principles and their application in inspection.
