Fine Dining Restaurant Bartender
The Onion Tree located on the North Shore of Long Island is hiring Full and Part Time Bartenders to join our busy restaurant.
Led by Chef Jay Jadeja and his wife, Raquel Jadeja, The Onion Tree is a food-forward restaurant serving both Traditional (as well as Regional) Modern Indian cuisine. We do substantial volume in spite of limited capacity and need professional individuals to help us grow bigger and better. Besides being known for our incredible food, we are known for our hospitality and warm team atmosphere. Our team is comprised of energetic individuals who are passionate about hospitality and food. It is a very positive work environment and everyone enjoys being a part of The Onion Tree! Is available evenings, weekends and holidays.
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
Check identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Computer literacy
Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
Relevant training certificate
