Technical Program Manager, GTM Ops

As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at Planet, you will lead the company’s largest, complex efforts that cross many teams and organizational boundaries. You will develop and manage end‑to‑end program plans, establish and maintain internal processes, schedules, metrics, and risks, and communicate clearly with stakeholders. This full‑time hybrid role requires you to work from our San Francisco office three days per week.

Orchestrate cross‑functional efforts across engineering, product, design, sales, marketing, enablement, and customer support for major Go‑to‑Market releases.

Scope and manage program schedules, break them into incremental milestones, and hold owners accountable.

Identify dependencies and risks and proactively mitigate them.

Facilitate decision making through data‑driven analysis and healthy debate.

Communicate vertically and horizontally across Planet to keep stakeholders informed of progress, priorities, risks, and changes to requirements or plans.

4+ years of program management experience in technology products, from concept through development, launch, deprecation, and end‑of‑life.

Analytical, problem‑solving, and creative thinking skills paired with the ability to communicate findings and recommendations.

Comfortable explaining analyses and recommendations to business leaders as well as discussing technical trade‑offs with engineers.

Explores AI technologies to automate workflows, improve data, or enhance team productivity.

Desire to improve processes, tools, and ways of working to scale operations cycles.

Experience with GTM tech stack: admin and provisioning systems, SFDC, integration middleware.

Experience with remote sensing, earth observation data, or geospatial systems.

Experience working with remote, worldwide teams.

S. base salary range for this full‑time position at the commencement of employment is $128,400 - $160,500 USD. The role may be eligible for discretionary short‑term and long‑term incentives (bonus and equity).
