Electrician Journeyman - Construction Company

Mercer Electrical Contracting is looking for Licensed Journeyman Electricians that can work on their own under the general guidance of a Master Electrician. They are responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial electrical systems.

Knowledge of local electrical codes

Knowledge of electrical circuits

Ability to read and understand prints, schematics, and written reference material

Ability to guide and train Apprentice Electricians

Takes control and oversees projects

Review projects with sales team/project managers

Ability to have flexible working hours

Respond to emergency calls as needed

Acquire proper materials to complete project

Maintain a clean, well-serviced and well-stocked vehicle

Fill out work orders with time and material rates for billing purposes

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency

State of Michigan Journeyman License

operate assigned equipment and vehicles; Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
