Nurse - care - night - nursing

Provide patient care using the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial resources, and human resources

Perform unit-specific responsibilities and duties within the scope of service

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care

Complete initial patient assessments and develop plans of care based on patient and family needs

Implement and continuously evaluate nursing interventions and patient care procedures

Provide direct care to CVICU patients, including postoperative CABG, vascular, and ICU-status patients

Maintain hospital- and unit-based competencies

Perform hourly patient rounding

Proactively assist internal and external customers

Licensed Registered Professional Nurse (RN) through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

More than 1 year of RN work experience

Work night shift, 7p-7:30a, three 12-hour shifts

Work 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Participate in department holiday rotation

Demonstrates expertise in patient care within the CVICU, utilizing the nursing process and maintaining compliance with hospital competencies. Proficient in conducting patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions while ensuring effective communication and collaboration with healthcare teams.
