Description:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a Neurosurgical unit.
The unit focuses on the care of patients with stroke, seizures, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological diagnoses or procedures.
Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
