Associate Attorney - Condominium & Community Association Law

We are seeking a junior Associate Attorney to join a boutique business law firm in Northbrook, IL. This is a great opportunity for an attorney looking to grow their practice in condominium and community association law within a collaborative, low-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

Represent condominium and homeowner associations in day-to-day legal matters

Handle assessment collections and enforcement actions

Draft and review declarations, bylaws, and rules and regulations

Advise boards on governance issues and fiduciary obligations

Review and negotiate vendor and management contracts

Assist with unit owner disputes and covenant enforcement

Requirements

1-3 years of legal experience, condominium or community association law preferred

Licensed to practice in Illinois

Strong drafting and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple matters independently

Northbrook area preferred

Compensation
Competitive, commensurate with experience
