Description

Conduct assessments of patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and develop personalized treatment pathways
Implement physical therapy methods to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Work in tandem with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise regimens
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in line with facility protocols and regulations
Engage in care team meetings and collaborative discussions to ensure cohesive treatment plans
Education

~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

State licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Specialty certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are beneficial but not mandatory
Skills

Prior experience strongly preferred
Able to address complex medical and mobility-related conditions
