TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum tenens coverage for the Neuroscience ICU at a Level I Trauma Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Locum Tenens
Neuroscience ICU (Acute Care NP/PA)
Day Shift (7:00 AM 7:00 PM): December 26 January 1
Night Shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM): Ongoing beginning January 2027
Inpatient Neuroscience ICU only
12-hour shifts
No clinic responsibilities
No Emergency Department backup
20-bed Neuroscience ICU
EPIC EMR
Orientation required the day before the first scheduled shift
Provide comprehensive ICU-level care for critically ill neuroscience patients
Perform daily assessments, treatment planning, and patient management
Collaborate with neurosurgeons, neurologists, neurointensivists, nursing, and multidisciplinary care teams
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Acute Care certification required
Minimum 1 year of ICU or Neuroscience ICU experience
Demonstrated ability to independently provide ICU-level care
