Endoscopy Gastroenterology Physician

GI Hospitalist opening in Ohio Located in Dayton, OHFull-Time & Permanent Seeking a BE/BC GI Hospitalist to join practice.

• Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
• Provide care to a diverse patient population across multiple settings
• Collaborate with GI fellows and APPs in a high-volume program (5,000+ annual endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, EUS, ESD)
• Hospital Employed
• Level I Trauma Center
• The GI Hospitalist role offers the stimulation of challenging acute-care cases, opportunities for advanced invasive procedures, and constant interaction with other physicians in a hospital setting.
• 7 on / 7 off, but open to discussing other options. Skills:
• Have an interest in acute care
• Have in-depth knowledge of the diagnosis/treatment of complex GI diseases
• Be proficient in all basic and emergency GI procedures (e.g., variceal and ulcer bleeding, food impactions, and volvulus) and in advanced procedures (e.g., ERCPs and complex dilations)
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Be adaptable and flexible for rapidly changing endoscopy needs
