Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Phlebotomist – PAML – Pasco, WA

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; additional hours and rotating Saturdays as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Process billing information and collect payments when required

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis

Maintain patient and specimen information logs

Provide superior customer service to all patients

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary

Travel to additional sites when needed

Minimum Qualifications

Valid Washington State‑issued Phlebotomy License

Preferred Qualifications

At least one year of phlebotomy experience

At least one year of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy

Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of the state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet the license requirement

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Exceptional customer service

Strong communication skills; both written and verbal

Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Pay & Benefits

Pay Range: $18.25 – $27.69 per hour.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
