Prep Cook/Dishwasher

SAGE Dining Services is seeking a Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at a 6-12 private school in beautiful Bell Buckle, Tennessee. Responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment, and may be asked to assist with prep work, taking garbage and trash out, washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors, and maintaining and breaking down the dish machine.

Schedule:

• This is a seven-day operation, so shifts will include at least one weekend day. The schedule will be discussed during the interview.
• 11:00 a.m. to 7 p.m. or noon to 7:30 p.m.
• Summers and school holidays off.
• Additional hours on weekends for catering events with advanced notice.

What you'll do:

Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.

Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members and provide service with a smile!

Dispose of waste and maintain a clean kitchen, properly washing and sorting soiled utensils, dishes and pots.

Clean, restock, and replenish serving lines and stations to ensure our guests enjoy an exquisite dining experience.

Set up and break down the dish machine and sanitize equipment in the kitchen.

What you'll need:

Ability to keep all stock areas neat and clean.

Ability to understand and apply FIFO inventory procedures.

Prior commercial dishwashing experience preferred, however, we can teach any motivated individual.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English accurately.
