Job Description Financial Data Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Financial Data Clerk to join our corporate office team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to think critically when reviewing financial information.

The Financial Data Clerk will be responsible for entering, reviewing, organizing, and verifying financial data from multiple sources. Enter and maintain financial data accurately within company systems and spreadsheets

Transfer financial information from multiple reports, systems, and data sources

Review transactions and financial records for accuracy and completeness

Compare and reconcile information between reports and systems

Organize financial documents and supporting documentation

Review data before submission to ensure accuracy

Assist the accounting and administrative teams with financial data projects

Maintain confidentiality when handling company and financial information

Complete assigned projects accurately and within established deadlines

Comfortable working with numbers and financial information

Strong computer and data-entry skills

Experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

QuickBooks experience preferred, but training may be provided

This position is best suited for someone who is analytical, organized, dependable, and comfortable working with large amounts of financial data.
